Every January, Washtenaw Community College celebrates MLK Day through several events over the course of the month. Our 2025 MLK theme, Living King鈥檚 Legacy: Making the Dream a Reality, explores the ways in which 蘑菇视频 students, faculty, staff, and community members are working to create meaningful change and bring to life. All are invited to attend 蘑菇视频's 19th annual MLK Celebration from 3:30-5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, on the second floor of the Student Center.

蘑菇视频 students, faculty, alumni, and friends are invited to a writing workshop facilitated by 蘑菇视频 English/College Readiness instructors Ernesto Querijero and Tom Zimmerman.

This open-mic celebration will feature participants from the 鈥淩adiant Stars of Love鈥� MLK Writing Workshop reading their work as well as other attendees who would like to share their writing about themes of love and social justice.
