Two Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students among semifinalists for prestigious Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students Ana Garcia-Osorio and Carmen Samaniego are among 459 community college students nationwide selected as semifinalists for the highly competitive Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship that will provide as much as $165,000 to complete a bachelor’s degree.

A recent $20,000 donation by Ken Wilson to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Foundation created the Nancy C. Wilson Single Mom’s Relief Fund, an endowment that will provide at least one annual scholarship to a qualified Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ student in perpetuity, along with directing additional money into the college's Student Emergency Fund.
